To preface, Rod did a good job in the home inspection (aside from the termite inspection, which I paid extra for). Had Rod come in and do my inspection and paid extra for a termite inspection. Nine months later, after doing remodeling and finding some damage in my family room, discovered a lot of termite damage (whole corner of my house was eaten). At first thought it may be new, but after having a few termite inspectors come out and do an inspection they all found mud tubes running down the entire back wall of the crawlspace and alerted me that the damage had been there for a while (all guessed in the years at the least) and the tubes were far from new. One of the termite inspectors blatantly asked if I had done an inspection at all and laughed when I said I paid extra for a termite inspection. After calling Rod he told me that he does not move anything (so insulation on the walls of my crawlspace for example) (or go on the roof or crawlspace) to do inspections. He also only took one picture of the crawl space (which he didn’t actually go in, it’s just a picture from outside of it) and he explained that only damage that I can prove was there at the time (besides 3 professional termite inspections). All in all, definitely didn’t do anything illegal, but also did the bare minimum. Paying extra to have him inspect my drywall for termites was definitely not what I thought a termite inspection was... If you want to have a termite inspection, do it with an actual termite professional. Not a bad guy, just don’t expect more than the bare minimum from him.Posted on Google![]()

BrickKicker Inspection Service inspected a home that I have a contract on it was extremely professional and informative. Additionally, and every bit is important, after the inspection, they promptly and professionally compile the information and provided me a report that was extremely easy to follow, logical in its presentation, and therefore, very useful. I highly recommend them for the full spectrum of home inspection categories that you may need to have competently and professionally accomplished. Great job, guys; thank you very much! - Jim Swingle
